About the Presenters

Mary Wang, Esq., Partner, Hixson Nagatani LLP
Mary Wang joined Hixson Nagatani LLP as a Partner in 2009. For several years prior, Ms. Wang practiced employment law with one of California’s most prestigious law firms. A seasoned advisor and litigator, Ms. Wang has advised Fortune 500 companies and small employers on a variety of employment and labor laws. In her litigation practice, she has defended employers in state and federal courts, arbitral forums, as well as agencies against various employment claims ranging from harassment to trade secret violations.

Brian K. Nagatani is a partner at Hixson Nagatani LLP in Santa Clara, California. He provides preventive counseling to employers on a broad range of issues including hiring and termination decisions and personnel policy decisions. He also represents employers before state and federal courts in employment litigation matters. 


Cancellations received less than seven calendar days from the program date are not refundable. If cancellation within seven days of the program is unavoidable, a credit for a future event will be granted, minus a $75 administration fee ($15 for regional meetings). Credits must be used within one year of issue. A substitute attendee is allowed at the applicable NCHRA member/non-member rate in lieu of credit. Separate cancellation policies apply for the HR West Conference and Certification Preparation Courses.
